Day - something, I lost count.

So...looks like I haven't updated my blog in a long time. Since august? Anyways a lot has happened since then. So, I had an interview with the BEST agency is canada guess what. 2 days before the interview, I messaged them to confirm and guess what they told me?

"Sorry, you look too similar to one of our talents. Please re-submit yourself in a couple of moths"

I cried. The BEST agency...
Well, after that. I messaged AMI! I was so excited when they told me they were interested ! But then I called the woman who worked their, and she said re-send your pictures to the email, I lost them - but we will deffinately meet I just need to refresh my memory. So turns out, when I resent them, someone else who works their saw the pictures and said to me "Sorry you are not what we are looking for at the moment" So in my head I was like ohh no worries I spoke to someone else, so I know ill be interviewed. Wellllll turns out, she never got back to me and I was left with no meetings and no
agents.

Was I doing something wrong? I figured that maybe its the lack of expierience, maybe that's why I can't land myself an agent. SO I signed up with TFX. They specialize in background work. Its a pretty good job! You work 10 - 12 hour days, you get to be on set, work with celebrities, gain experience, get a great buffet lunch + snacks AND get paid. So, I started doing bg work and turns out its pretty fun! I've been on a movie called Silent Witness, Some tv shows - Lost Girl, DEGRASSI two times<3 and tommorow I'm heading to the set of Really Me, I was chosen to be a "cute cheerleader" YAY:)) can't wait to wear the uniform;) Ill keep the blog updated with more news, even though no ones reading

Day 09 - Mission Impossible

Im so shy. Its literally impossible for me to be myself with an agent. I always act all formal and polite! not like myself !

 So remember when I said that I have an interview with Shari?
So she didnt answer me after , and she had out of town relatives so we didnt meet that day.... um can you say unlucky? (friday the thirteenth)

We lost contact, so I re submitted myself, and suddenly, they werent interested in me ! :'( UGH!

Now I have an interview with someone else though ! coming up!!

With Noble Caplan Abrams! I'm super excited ! They were Drakes agent, back when he was in degrassi!! AHH! I'm so excited, so wish me luck<3

Day 08 - Failures

So, if you read my last post you would be able to sense the excitement of my first interview.
Yeah... DIDNT go too well.

They were a scam in a way. Not gonna say how, but they tried to get me into their agency, because they "really want to work with me"AHAHA, ok. So i didn't go with MAX agency, but I went to another interview. Last week I  believe. Or the week before. I went to a place called E Fulcher group. See this place is a legitmate agency, its realy, its reputable and they give great work to their clients.

I went to the woman, but she was so intimidating..which was odd because she was SO friendly and loud! I assumed I would feel comfortable, but she took up all the excitement in the room so I was just shy and sitting there.Unfourtunatly they didnt want me. In a way I'm glad.. because I'm not sure I liked the way she treated me.

When she first saw my head shot "This is not a good picture. You look angry! Sad! like an old woman"

um excuse me.. but did I ask for your oppinion?


She also kept comparing me to my mother, like "oh your mothers so sparkly and bubbly, and beautiful and confident" and I was sitting right there... Can you say awkward? Like clearly this woman wants to sign my mother to the agency. Just SAD.

Anyways, they ARE a good agency, they really are thats just MY personal experience with them, yours could be completely different!

Anyways, I'm pretty excited because I have another interview this Friday with AMI ( Shari Q ) She is a TOP agent in my area.. Like HUGE.

You know the lesbian from Pretty Little Liars? Emily? She was with them when she lived in Toronto. Luke Bilyk from Degrassi is with them! So I'm SUPER excited. Im going to try my best to be confident and bubbly.. and SPARKLY -.- hahah

Wish me luck..

Oh yeah, did I mention it's on Friday the 13th? Yeah.. FML.

Day - 07 i think? finnaly getting somewhere ;)

hey guys, I know I space out my blog a lot and it must get reallyy irritating but deal with it ;) haha jk..

Besides I'm the only one reading this anyways :')

So, basically as the title says..
I'm finnally getting somewhere. My resumes finished I got my headshots done, and.. I applied to the first agency.

MAX Agency.

Within 2 days they contacted me!!! They're interested in me and set up an interview for this saturday and I am so nervous its unbelievable! Its a modeling and acting agency but I'm open to both.

Anyways I'm doing a photoshoot this week to get more headshots done, and I am supperrr excited ! :O then I'm gonna apply to more agencies cause the headshot I have isn't my favourite. Ill post it :)

Day - 48526516

ok... technically its day, 4 ? or 5... to be honest I dont know, i lost count.

Man, it's been SO long.. WOW , I'm gonna start keeping track of this thing.
Anyways, nothing new really...that has to do with my dream..

I'm beginning to feel like my dream is nver really going to happen. I really dont. It just costs so much money, money that my parents dont have. Well they have it, they just decide not to use it on me. But to get their, you've got to invest money. That's just how it works, unless your justin bieber, and all you need it youtube. or tyra banks, and all that needs to happen is to be walking in a mall and being discovered. I guess thats not how things work in Canada, because there are no random talent agents just WALKING around the mall on a regular basis. Justin bieber's fame, is out of pure talent, and luck. Thats all it is

anyways, I finished writing my resume ! Ill post it tommorow , or later on today, im too lazy right now.
I guess instead of this being a public blog, maybe i should just stick to it being my own little journal.. no one reads it anyways.

Day - 4

WOAHWOAHWOAH , sorry i havent posted ! then again no ones reading this ! lmfao ;D

but nothing much happened, i missed some school days cause i was sick and i was too lazy to go on the computer :$

but now im alll goodd<3
so basically today, my friend came over and we practiced acting for 2 hours maybe ? OR MORE D:
LOL it was soso fun , basically we improvised, we would fake argue, i cried in some scenes, we did a happy one, sad, angry it was pretty good. We also practiced some scripts and advertisements:$
Ill post a vid, cause we took LOTS , it was amazing, i just love acting so much. Honestly , as corny as this is , it makes me feel so much more alive, and i can use my anger and emotions when im acting, because i need to let it show at one point. Its refreshing, i just love it. Anyways, so ill post a video tommorow i think cause im to lazy to get the camera cord so i can put them on the computer ! :) but anyways TA TA

yay!

SO, its finnally all coming together... in a way.

Basically i called the agency im interested in. I was nervous, lol but i did it !
So they told that to get into the agency, you dont pay.. LOL when i told people this they said "obviously"

am i the only one who didn't know? haha

anyways, so what i have to do , is create a resume, and get a couple headshots and send it to them via mail, or email :) Im trying to set up an appointment with a photographer, my friend jadyn also wants to be an actress so were gonna go together :) its a little pricey though... for an hour and a half session, and 250 pics... ( WOW ) im thinking of using the cheaper option and just going outside to take the picture, maybe bring a blanket to use as a backdrop ! only 45or 70 , depends on the time amount i want♥

so, im creating my resume today, and asking my mom about the headshots, and see what she says.
the thing is, i dont know how to make a resume! LOL what do i do? i need help... too bad that this blog is pretty much being read by only me...kind of sad, i know.

Anwyays, so to make my resume, i have to have experience... does playing extra in joseph the technicolour dream coat count? oh yeah, it was an elementary school production... im SO experinced! I did go to broadway camp, 2 summers actually, i acted, sang and danced. On stage, that might help me out a bit. But whaateverrr! every actress starts somewhere, and they start with nothing. just as im doing. so as soon i finish my resume ill make sure to post it, and when i get my headshots, same for those.

so , i really should be finishing up on my history assignment...did i say finishing up? I meant getting started on... :)
